Noted that Field had served the royalist cause 'from the time of Edgehill fight until Oxford was surrendered', in Captain Slaine's troop in the regiment of the Earl of Northampton. He received several wounds, which had made him weak and lame. He previously had a pension of 30 s. per annum, but this had been suspended and Field was now reduced to great poverty through his inability work due to his wounds. It was ordered the his pension be reinstated.
