fol. 74v: Upon a certificate from Sir Francis Clerke, Robert Watson and George May Esq., JPs of the county, and others, showing that Thomas Crimborne of Chatham lost one of his eyes and received other wounds at the siege of Colchester in 1648 and is now poor and aged, it was ordered that Crimborne be paid a gratuity of 20 s. and a pension of 40 s. a year.
