‘Upon hearing the peticion of one Thomas Clarke a poore maymed souldier shewing yt he was formerly allowed a pencion of 4 li. per annum out of the County whereof there is xxx s. in arreare, And the present Treasurer Mr Smyth in respect hee findeth not the said Thomas Clarke’s name upon the list of the maymed souldiers forbeareth to pay the same, This Court doth order that the said xxx s. in arreare bee forthwith paid, and that the said pencion of 4 li. per annum shall from henceforth continue until this Court shall give order to the contrary.’
