‘Whereas Bernard Hatherley of Teington Drew was formerly allowed a pencion of 30 s. per annum and Thomas Brooking of the same parish was formerly allowed a pencion of 40 s. per annum who were not summoned to appeare before the Justices of the peace to be examined with other maymed souldiers according to the order of this Courte but they appearing in Courte this present Sessions and the Courte being satisfyed It is ordered that the Treasurer for maymed souldiers doe pay vnto the said Hatherley & Brooking their said former pencions till further order and the arreares of the same which to each of them is for one quarter before this sessions.’
