Upon the petition of Thomas Beamond of Burton setting forth that he was a soldier in his late Majesty’s service and that he had been a great sufferer for his cause and thereby grown into poverty, and that one John Sidgweeke of Ingleton a pensioner in Ewecrosse was lately dead, it was ordered that Beamond be recommended to the next General Sessions at Pontefract to be admitted to Sidgweeke’s pension of 6 s. 3 d. quarterly.
