"Upon the Certificate of Lievetenant John Pearse That Stephen Tuckerman, a souldier in Plymouth dureing the late warrs, under the Commaund of Major Martyn now a member of Parliament, was wounded through both his Arms in the Parliament service and thereby maymed. It is ordered that the Treasurer … shall pay unto … [him] twenty shillings in hand and shall also pay unto him a pencion of forty shillings a yere."
