[f.114] ‘Vpon the humble petition of Stephen Chapman of Tavistocke in this County Carpenter a Souldier maimed in his late Majesties Service This Courte doth thinke fitt and order that the Treasurer for the maimed Souldiers of this County doe henceforth pay vnto the said Stephen Chapman a pencion of forty shillings per annum per quarterly payments vntill further order.’
