Upon Constentyne's petition showing that he had his existing pension of 12 d. weekly from the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of Kettlewell was not sufficient. He was 71 years old and very impotent, having a rupture and his right hand maimed in the service of Charles I. It was ordered that two of the next JPs take his condition into consideration and order him what further sum they thought fit.
