‘The Treasurer … [is ordered] to pay unto Roger Tucker of Morchard Episcopi a souldier maymed in the service of Kinge Charles the first the summe of tenn shillings in hand for his present releiffe, And when hee brings a Certificate that the officers of Morchard Episcopi doe contribute twenty shillings yearely towards his relieffe hee is then to have a pencion of twenty shillings per annum as other maymed souldiers till further orders.’
