‘Whereas Roger Tucker of Morchard Episcopi hath a pencion of 40 s. per annum allowed him as a maymed souldier It is now vpon further consideracion had of his impotency & want ordered that the Treasurer for the maymed souldiers of this County do from henceforth pay him the yearly pencion of £3 per annum by quarterly payments till further order & 5 s. in hand And this Courte doth desire any Justice of the peace of that division vpon Complaint made to take course that the officers of the said parish doe give the said Tucker such further releiffe as his necessities require.’
