On reading the petition of Roger Duce, setting forth that he served King Charles the First of blessed memory as a lieutenant in the late unhappy civil wars, and received wounds therein and is now reduced to want, the court ordered the treasurer for mariners and maimed soldiers to pay him 40 s. for a present supply of his want.
