Notes

It appeared to the court by certificates that Roger Allen, formerly of the parish of St Sepulchre, had served his late Majesty’s wars under the command of Captain Robert Fry and was now a very poor man. It was therefore ordered that Allen have a pension of 40 shillings a year upon the death of the next pension living in the City of London. It was noted in a later hand that Allen was now in receipt of this pension.
