In consideration of 'the sufferings & great necessities' he had endured, he received a pension of 40 s. per annum as a maimed soldier, in quarterly payments of 10 s. This record covered the period from Midsummer 1674 to Lady Day 1675 and confirmed that he had received his payment for Midsummer 1674, but had died before Michaelmas. His pension was then reassigned to Mary Johnson.
