Unfoliated: 'Fforasmuch as Robte Taylor the younger of Oxtenpke beeing an soldier in service for the pliament and lately under comannd of Coll Ponsonbye is now visited wth sicknes since his comeing out of Ireland at Halton and altogether unable to travell It is therefore ordered by this Cort that the Constables of Halton shall take speciall care to pvide convenient mainteynance & other fittinge necessaryes for the prsent recovery of the said Taylor and carefully toconvey and bringe him on horseback or otherwyse according to his abiltyt & recover to Oxenphirke aforesaid neare unto Conlton Church And to see him well & carefully delivred to some one of the Churchwardens & ovseers of the poore wthin the pishe of Hawkshead who are hereby ordered to pvid and allow him three shillings & five pence a weeke for his prsent mainteynance & releeffe & to contynue the somme weekely for & untill other course bee taken for him according to lawe otherwise upon complt made to any Justice of peace wthin this County a warrant shalbee awarded agt them to take them bound to answer theire contempts at the next ensueing Sessions of peace here to bee holden. '
