p. 172: Robert Tarry of Hoddesdon, a poor old indigent person who formerly served his late Majesty King Charles I in those unhappy civil wars, has petitioned this Bench to be admitted as a pensioner and receive something towards his maintenance. The minister and several chief inhabitants of his parish have certified the truth of his petition. He is awarded the pension formerly paid to Richard Holding, who is lately dead.
