Rose Served the Commonwealth for several years, under the command of Captain Francis Ayscough. He had received several wounds to his body which prevented him from working for a living. The Court ordered that he would be granted his pension as soon as they had sufficient money in their hands, over and above that needed to service the existing pensions.
