f. 81v: It is ordered that the churchwardens and overseers for the poor of Great Munden shall speedily and seriously consider the condition of Roger Manwaring, a maimed soldier, and if they shall find him disabled from carrying on a convenient livelihood, they shall make him such weekly allowance towards his maintenance as shall be appropriate.
