fol. 76: Upon the petition and certificate of Robert Lester of Chatham, carpenter, showing that he was shot in the left arm while in royalist service and lost the use thereof, whereby he could no longer maintain his wife and child, and he was now aged and poor, it was ordered that Lester be paid a gratuity of 10 s. and pension of 40 s. a year.
