‘Whereas Robert Landman of Burliscombe had formerly a pencion of 20 s. per annum allowed him as a maymed souldier It is now vpon his peticion and the Certificate of Mr Drew & Mr Gidley ordered that the Treasurer for the maymed souldiers doe from henceforth pay vnto the said Robert Landman the summe of 40 s. yearly by quarterly payments till further order.’
