Notes

f. 138: Robert Galasky, who says he was a soldier under the command of Colonel Douglas but was cashiered, was arrested for vagrancy at Ware and committed to the house of correction at Hertford. He declares that he was born in Ayr, Scotland, so it is thought fit that he should be conveyed from parish to parish back there, but should not pass alone because he seems somewhat distracted. Each parish is to give him necessary relief according to law.
