Notes

The petition of Robert Cocke of Ipswich, gent. shows that for several years he served his Majesty King Charles the First of blessed memory, and for his loyalty to him in that service suffered imprisonment at King’s Lynn and Colchester, and also served his late Majesty King Charles the Second, behaving himself well in that service, but is now ancient and in great necessity. The court, taking his condition into their consideration, thinks fit and orders a pension of £5 a year, to be paid him quarterly by the treasurer for maimed soldiers of this division until this court shall order the contrary.
