A further petition from Robert Anderton of Stony Stratford set out his case for augmenting his pension: ‘& now further showing to this Court that he is in soe meane & Lowe a Condic[i]on that he of necessity must inevitably p[er]ish unlesse by the bounty of this Court.’ The court believed him and increased his pension from £2 to £4 per annum.
