fol. 159: Richard Usmer of Boughton Monchelsea, butcher, had been since the beginning of the present Parliament been very well affected to it and the proceedings thereof, and very active in suppressing insurrections in the county. At the rising at Yalding, he received a wound in one of his arms and a wound in his side, whereby he had been disabled and put at great charge. It was therefore ordered that he receive a gratuity of £5 for his further encouragement and in satisfaction of his expenses thereby.
