Fol. 28: ‘Whereas Ri[chard] Tooley was heretofore allowed a yearly penc[i]on of three pounds out of ye stocke of this County as a mehaimed souldier w[hi]ch by reason of his going to Oxford during these late warrs was taken from him Now for yt the sayd Tooley is a poore aged man & hath not wherew[i]th to subsists, and for yt he doth not appeare that he was in armes or any ways actiue ag[ain]st the Parliam[en]t, It is therefore thought fit & soe order’d that the sayd Ri[chard] Tooley shall from henceforth be readmitted to haue & receiue his yearly penc[i]on as form[er]ly’.
