Pearson was a Royalist soldier and served in the Newark garrison, where he received various wounds in his body and limbs, which have disabled him from earning a living. The curt ordered him a pension of 40 s. p. a. and in view of his indigence, the court ordered that he be paid a quarter's pension of 10 s. immediately, and 10 s. quarterly thereafter.
