fol. 76: Richard Lenge [sic] of St Margaret’s Westminster petitioned the court that he had been in receipt of a maimed soldier’s pension for over thirty years and that he was incapable of working towards his livelihood due to his great age and infirmities. He further petitioned that the number of pensioners had now decreased to a small number and so he requested an addition to his pension. It was therefore ordered that the pension paid to Richard Long be increased by 40 s. per annum to £5 per annum in total.
