Noted that Hancocks was pressed into the military from Knowle for parliament's service, 'in the which service hee received divers wounds by w[hi]ch hee is disabled from following his trade beinge A Butcher and not able to maintaine his family having a wife and Two small Children w[hi]ch by reason of the hardnes[s] of the times are in danger to perish unles[s] speedy course be taken for their releife'. Ordered that Knowle ('being the place from whence the said Hancocks was prest') should pay the weekly pension, until a pension vacancy occurred on the county treasurers' lists.
