Whereas upon the humble petition of Richard Blackwell of Brackley, showing that he was a soldier in the service of the late king, under the command of Captain James in Sir William Compton’s Regiment of Foot, and did for several years receive a yearly pension of forty shillings, which had been discontinued for several years, and desired that the arrears thereof might be paid him, and continued to be paid. It was now ordered that he have a yearly pension of twenty shillings, to be paid him by the Treasurer of the West Division of the county
