[f.244r] ‘Vpon the humble petition of Richard Bastien of Ottery St Mary in this County a Soldier maimed in his late Majesties Service This Court doth order that the Treasurer for ye maimed Soldiers of this County doe henceforth pay vnto the said Richard Bastien a pencion of Thirty Shillings per annum per quarterly payments vntill further orders and Fiue Shillings in hand.’
