‘Vpon the humble petition of Richard Addams of Malborough in this County a souldier maimed in the service of his late Majestie King Charles the first This Courte doth thinke fitt & order that the Treasurer for the maimed soldiers of this County doe henceforth pay vnto the said Richard Addams a pencion of forty shillings per annum by quarterly payments vntill further order and five shillings in hand.’
