Notes
-
In consideration of 'the sufferings & great necessities' he had endured, he received a pension of 40 s. per annum as a maimed soldier, in quarterly payments of 10 s. This record covered the period from Midsummer 1674 to Lady Day 1675. He had not been listed as a pensioner before, so it seems likely his first payment was at Midsummer 1674. However, he died at some point during the year and his pension was reassigned to Michaell Harman. It is unclear how much money Prestland had received before he died.
