‘This Courte being fully satisfied of the faithfull service of Captaine Owen Lyndsey to his late Majestie … and to his present Majestie from time to time and having expended severall summes of money for his Majesties service for which hee hath received noe satisfaction and being now in some necessity which this Courte taking into Consideracion doth thinke fitt and order that the summe of £15 be paid unto him by the Treasurer of the hospitals of this County towards his satisfaccion and further incouragement.’
