[f.71r] ‘Whereas it appeareth vnto this Court vpon the humble petition of Nicholas Harris of Ditesham & proofe made vnto the Court that the said Nicholas Harris was very servicable in the late vnhappy civel warrs on behalfe of his late Majestie King Charles the first & much Impoverished himselfe thereby & being now growne ancient & very infirme This Court doth order the Treasurer for the maimed Soldiers to pay him thirty shillings as a gratuity from this Court for his more comfortable present subsistance.’
