Upon the petition of Nichol[as] Eyre of Rotherham showing that he was maimed in the king’s service [unclear which conflict - may not have been the Civil Wars] ‘& otherwise about the towie buisinesse’ and is now is in great want, it was ordered that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor pay him 12 d. weekly towards his relief.
