"Whereas it appeareth ... by certificate that Nathaniell Lee of Slapton was a souldier in the states service in the Irish warrs in the Regiment of Collonell Peter Stubhorse who in the said service received severall wounds by meanes whereof he is become unserviceable: It is therefore ordered that the Treasurer for maymed souldiers … doe forthwith pay … Tenn shillings and forty shillings yearely from henceforth."
