fol. 60: Upon the petition of the wife of John Horne of Buckland, husbandman, showing that he was ‘a distracted man and in his madness did sett on fire and burne his owne house’ whereby she was destitute of a dwelling, it was ordered that the Treasurer for Maimed Soldiers pay unto Mr Michael Page and Edward Hatton twenty nobles for the use of Horne’s wife.
