He had previously been settled at Yatton but had relocated to Weston, where he lived 'with one Mr Percivall at Weston as a covenant servant for the space of three years'. He afterwards became a soldier in the late King’s Army. It was ordered that Davis be settled at Weston, as his sojourn at Yatton (where he had recently returned) had been disturbed within the space of six weeks.
