"Upon the peticion of Matthew Wardall of Thomas Apostle parish weaver that he was shott through the body in the service of the parliament, whereby he is growne very impotent. It is ordered that the Treasurer … shall pay unto … [him] Twenty shillings for his present subsistence, and hereafter shall pay unto him forthy shillings a yeare for his pencion by Quarterly payments."
