'Whereas Richard Greene of West Chickerell & Phillip Lovelesse of Broadsidling lately deceased were in their life times pencioners and had twenty shillings each per annum paid them by the Treasurer of the westerne division … And whereas upon sufficient certificate unto this court that Mathew Haggard of Dorchester hath received severall wounds in the body in the service of the late King Charles the first and is thereby disabled in his body, This court having duely considered his present necessity doe by this instrument graunt unto the said Mathewe Haggard the said pencions being forty shillings per annum dureing his life if the said pencion shall not be hereafter duly revoked, to be paid him quarterly by the Treasurer of the westerne division.'
