‘Upon a peticon pr[e]ferred to this Court by Mary Salter widdow the relict of Thomas Salter a maymed soldier, who had a pension of fower pounds p[er] ann[um] allowed unto him by this Court & lay bedred a whole yeare past & lately dyed & the said Peticoner prayed this Court to allow her twenty shillings for this last quarters pension now at these sessions ended, which this Court held reasonable & ordered the said twenty shillings to be paid unto her by the Treasorers of the maimed soldiors.’
