[f.253] ‘Vpon the humble petition of Mary Pope of Coleridge in this County Widdow relict of Brute Pope late of Coleridg aforesaid deceased who of late yeares & att the time of his decease received a pencion of Forty Shillings per annum by quarterly payments as a maimed Soldier is dead since the last Sessions This Court doth thinke fitt & order that the Treasurer for the maimed Soldiers of this County doe forthwith pay vnto the said Mary Pope the Summe of Tenne Shillings which would haue been due vnto the said Brute Pope if he had lived vntill this present Sessions.’
