‘The Treasurer for the maymed souldiers of this County is hereby ordered to pay vnto Mary Huddy the widdow of Henry Huddy late of Ottery St Mary (who had a pencion of 40 s. per annum allowed him as a maymed souldier) the summe of Ten shillings which would have been due vnto him for one quarter at Midsomer last if hee had lived soe longe.’
