Fol. 40v: John Goslinge, late of the parish of St Peter’s within the City, late husband of Mary Goslinge of the same, was slain in Parliament’s service whilst under the command of Captain Hatcher, as by certificate appears. It was ordered that the churchwardens and overseers of the poor of the parish pay unto Mary and her one child the sum of 6 d. weekly until the next Quarter Sessions, when the court would make further orders for their relief.
