Fol. 28v: Mary Cooke of the parish of St Alphage, widow, by her petition complained to the court that she was so sickly and weak and not able to dress or undress herself by reason of her fainting fits, so she was forced to have one to help her and therefore could not subsist on her current parish allowance of 2 s. per week. The matter was referred to the Mayor for a decision.
