Her husband was a soldier under Lt-Colonel George Hutchinson, and slain at the [Trent] Bridges. Warrant signed by James Chadwick and William Nix. Receipt (to ‘Ensign Rudder’) endorsed by the mark of Marie Alcocke [sic].
