Notes

It appeared to the court upon a certificate of the inhabitants of Barwick in Elmett that Alverey Danyell, a pensioner there, had lately died and that Martin Prince of the same parish had faithfully served his majesty and had fallen into great poverty. It was therefore ordered that Prince be admitted pensioner in the room of Danyell and have Danyell’s last quarter’s pay as a gratuity.
