Her husband, Thomas Browne, was a corporal under Colonel Castle and was killed at the siege before Banbury, and 'that by meanes thereof her selfe & 2 Childeren which shee had by her said Husband are in greate want & distress'. Ordered that the inhabitants of Pillerton should relieve Browne weekly, but no payment details recorded, and that the gratuity be paid from the treasurers for maimed soldiers 'if they shall have so much in their hands over'.
