f.9: 'By the Committee of the Militia for the County Town of Cambridge
These are to require you to pay unto the Widow Waterson the sum of twenty shillings, being towards her present maintenance (her husband being slain by an accident at the muster in Parker’s Peace in Cambridge) out of the Militia money in your hands belonging to the town; and for your so doing this shall be your warrant. Dated this 2 day of May 1651.
