The Overseers of Marham were order to pay 8 d. per week to Margaret Littleboy, wife of Francis Littleboy, ‘who is a soldier in ye Parliament’s service’. She was also ordered to have 10 s. towards redeeming her cow which she had pawned. The Overseers had only paid her 4 d. a week for her and her children’s maintenance and so she had complained to the JPs. If the Overseers refused, they were to answer for their refusal in court.
