f.130: Nicholas Cox, a waggoner belonging to the train of artillery, is lately deceased, who in employment served in this army for which he is much in arrears, and beside suffered much loss by the enemy at Lostwithiel, having left his wife, Margaret Cox very poor with a charge of four children. The Earl of Essex therefore orders that Margaret Cox be paid the sum of £5 which is to be defalked from the account of her late husband’s arrears.
